DREAM DANCERS

Shaping clay in coils allows for the possibility of creating circular volumes, a shape undoubtedly
connected with femininity. The female figure, which is a beloved theme for Michaella, is recreated
expressing every time esoteric sensitivities and fine emotions. Influenced by the female-fertility
symbols created by her colleagues, the clay labourers, thousands of years ago, she continues to
draw inspiration from them, their work and the “woman”.

Through the ancient anthropomorphic vessels and the figurines of fertility, my own women are born.
